My Soul Train of Peace!

Sometimes my body feels like a tired ole weary train.

I huff and I puff just going and coming back again.

My life is full of troubles but my feet don’t jump the track.

I’m headed for glory and I’m not stopping to look back.

The engineer who run this ole tired and weary train.

Watches over me and keeps my lights glowing brightly in the rain.

He makes sure this train is traveling on heaven’s majestic way.

And He knows just when this train will see the its last break of day.

You can hear my soul train singing on the darkest of nights.

You can see my soul train coming even tho it has no lights.

For Jesus gives me peace and this ole train will never fail.

It passes many trains who are making one stop trips to hell.

My soul train of peace blows it whistle loud and clear.

It calls out to the lost and the souls caught up in fear.

The Engineer pulls the chain and it sounds over lakes and fields.

My soul train is bound for heaven and it’s taking the whosoever wills.

My soul train is bound for the heavens so bright and so fair.

And one day from the gates of glory I’ll feel no despair.

For my seats have carried souls to their mansions in the air.

Yes this ole train will remember every soul it’s taken there.

So keep you ears alert and your eyes open wide.

For one day my ole train might take you for a ride.

You will never have to pay to board this heaven bound train.

It will be a one way trip and with Jesus forever you will reign.

My soul train of peace blows it whistle loud and clear.

It tries to catch the attention of the lost souls bound by fear.

The Engineer pulls the chain and it whistles over lakes and fields.

My soul train is bound for heaven and it’s taking all the whosoever wills!
