In His Eyes
His eyes opened and beheld a simple manger stable
His mother smiled into Jesus the Saviors eyes.
Wisemen came to see and His eyes glisten so willing and able.
The stars twinkled bright on this holiest of holy nights.
In His eyes the angels in majesty bowed low.
In His eyes all heaven and earth were aglow.
The shepherds followed the brightest star
For in His eyes it was their destiny from afar.
In His eyes, the earth was His footstool.
In His eyes, all of heaven bowed in splendor and praise.
In His eyes, man became a sin debt sacrifice
But In His eyes, He became love’s purchase price.
In His eyes, the earth became His footstool.
In His eyes, all of heaven bowed in praise.
In His eyes, He became man’s blood sacrifice.
And in His eyes, He was willing to pay love’s price.
