God’s FootPrints

Consider not tomorrow and what it shall be.
God’s footprints lay at the very bottom of the Red Sea.
He walks before us each and every day.
He prepares our way before us so we might not in darkness stray.

Before He breathed breath into Adam, generations ago.
He created food for him to eat and from the rocks fresh water did flow.
Before Adam became lonely, his heart sad and blue
God took a rib and made woman for Adam to cling too.

“My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure!” saith God in a mighty wind.
Who is redeemed, sanctified, and justified, whom shall He send?
I have declared the future saith God and it will come to pass.
What man shall still be standing after heaven’s trumpets blast?

Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, thy footsteps not known.
Yes you strode through the Ocean, walked through the roaring sea before dawn.
No one saw you come or go
For God’s hand hath made it so.

We have been given His power, authority and His Word.
We are loved more precious than the flowers or the most majestic bird.
We have been given His armor to wear when we fight.
Prepare for war today for when you least expect it, comes the night.

Tomorrow is not come but it is prepared just the same.
He leads His flock beside still waters and they seek no worldly fame.
Worry not for tomorrow for God’s footprints still go forth today.
Ours is to keep the faith and from His presence never stray.
