Angels

Angels are sent to watch over God’s children.
They come in many forms, perhaps a friend.
Sometimes we are not aware of them at all.
They can be short or they can be tall.

Even though you can’t always see them,
they are constantly patroling God’s realm.
Angels are surrounding, watching over you.
Protection from harm they will pursue.

Sometimes you may doubt they are there.
It is hard when you can’t see them anywhere.
So, remember when you are feeling blue.
A feather from an angel might remind you.

So close your little eyes and rest.
Don’t worry about monsters and the darkness.
The next time you begin to fear and doubt,
Look around a feather could have fallen out.
